Drawing Class - Belmont Council on Aging.

For beginners as well as intermediate/advanced students.

Emphasis is on learning to draw what you see rather than what you think you see with a concentration on exercises to strengthen understanding & use of composition, light value, line, and texture. The class will help you develop a foundation for adding color on your own or leaving it as a rendered drawing.

Supply list — please e-mail the instructor at ajc538@comcast.net for a supply list.

Watercolor Class - Belmont Council on Aging.

Learn how to paint with watercolor paint. Students will learn how to use and control their paints effectively. Methods will include using a dry brush and what effects a paper towel and a porous sponge can create. The class is designed to help the student gain confidence with the medium. Beginners will learn the fundamental techniques of watercolor. Intermediate students will have new challenges with an emphasis on exploring techniques.

Basic drawing skills are recommended, but not required. Students will be responsible for providing their own supplies.

Periodically, watercolor card workshops are available.  Please contact Audrey if you would host a workshop.
